The town emblem was adopted on Mar 22nd 1963 by Notice No 21
but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a combination of a stylized kanji 平 Hira of Hiranai
with a swan surrounded by camellia flower.
The swan wings represent a restless construction and an exponential development.
