Here is an image of the flag of "New Atlantis"; c. July 1964. Per Wikipedia: "New Atlantis" was a micronation formed by Leicester 'Les' Hemingway, the younger brother of the novelist Ernest Hemingway. The "island", a 240 sq. ft. (22 m2) bamboo raft anchored in (at that time) international waters off the southwest coast of Jamaica, was established as a constitutional republic on July 4, 1962. However, within a few years of establishment, New Atlantis was destroyed by tropical storms. A flag was sewn by Doris Hemingway, which, along with other memorabilia, was donated to the "Harry Ransom Center" in 1966.
