Saint Saviour (French language: Saint-Sauveur, Jèrriais: St Saûveux) is one of the twelve parishes of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is the only one to be virtually landlocked, having only a small piece of access to the sea at Le Dicq. The Parish church, St Sauveur de L'Épine, was dedicated to Jesus Christ. Hence, the crown and nails of the crucifixion though 'Épine' means thorn and may suggest a relic of the crown of thorns.
The parish flag shows the symbol of a crown of thorns and some nails recall the Saviour's suffering. These symbols are gold, on a background of red.
