"Art. 4 (Stemma e gonfalone)
1. Lo stemma del Comune è costituito da una croce rossa in campo
bianco su scudo bombato, sormontata da corona nobiliare a nove
palle e circondato da un fregio dorato recante accenni di foglie
alla base e ai lati superiori.
2. Il gonfalone del Comune è costituito da un drappo
azzurro con bordo dorato, con tre merli alla base terminanti con
frange dorate, con al centro lo stemma del Comune sovrastato
dalla scritta con caratteri dorati "COMUNE DI MONTECCHIO
MAGGIORE".
3. L'uso dei simboli comunali è disciplinato."
