Chianciano Terme» (Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica in
data 7 febbraio 1980). Nel caso di Chianciano Terme, la stella
potrebbe portare, in aggiunta ai suoi significati tradizionali di
auspicio e speranza, un riferimento alla forma stellare delle
fondamenta dell'antico battistero, che vennero rinvenute durante
i restauri della collegiata dedicata a san Giovanni
