"GONFALONE. Drappo trinciato di verde e di bianco
riccamente ornato di ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma
sopra descritto con l'iscrizione centrata in argento: «Comune di
Santa Luce» (Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica in data 19
luglio 1986).
Nel 1860 il gonfaloniere di Santa Luce, comunicò alla segreteria
della Deputazione sopra la nobiltà e cittadinanza di Toscana che
il comune non aveva un proprio stemma. Il Passerini, segretario
della Deputazione, scrisse che poteva «farsi la immagine di
Santa Lucia» e così fu. "
