"GONFALONE. Drappo troncata d’azzurro e di
verde, riccamente ornato di ricami d'oro e caricato dello stemma
sopra descritto con la iscrizione centrata in oro: «Città di
Seravezza» (Decreto del Presidente della Repubblica ?n data 14
maggio 1976).
I simboli dello stemma alludono chiaramente al territorio: le
acque dei fiumi Serra e Vezza, alla cui confluenza si trova la
città, e i monti delle Apuane. La rosa rossa esprime la bellezza
del luogo. Secondo il Passerini, l'arme cos? composta Risale al
1847. Seravezza fu dichiarata «città» con decreto del
Presidente della Repubblica in data 31 dicembre 1975."
