ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma del comune (Regie
lettere patenti in data 7 gennaio 1932).
La banda d'argento che taglia in due lo scudo rosso potrebbe
ricordare l'antica via che traversava il fertile Campo Maiore, la
vasta pianura posta alle pendici del versante tirrenico delle
Alpi Apuane. Le tre figure rotonde e piatte, di colore azzurro,
poste nella banda, potrebbero riferirsi ai tre principali borghi
che si trovavano in quel territorio e cbe venivano toccati
dall'importante via di comunicazione."
