ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma civico con l'iscrizione
centrata in argento: «Comune di Civítella della Chiana» (oggi
di «Civitella in Val di Chiana») (Decreto del Capo del Governo
in data 20 ottobre 1936).
La rocca, dall'aspetto di un elegante fortilizio, ricorda la
soggezione di Civitella, allora Civitella del Vecovo, ai vescovi
