image by Tomislav Šipek, 29 September 2024The flag of Norðurþing Municipality is white with the logo centred above the name.
The municipality of Noršuržing was formed in 2006 by merging the
municipalities of Húsavík, Öxarfjöršur,
Raufarhöfn and Kelduneshreppur.
The new municipality kept the emblem
used by the Húsavík municipality, but I have no information if the Húsavík
municipality used a flag before.
