There seems to be an old ethnic flag and also modern flags probably used by
parties or movements mainly in exile. Some groups claim to be Kurdish and others
Iranian. Furthermore there's a West Luristan and an East Luristan or a Great
Luristan and Small Luristan or a North Luristan and South Luristan, and before
the XIX century were two Lur separate states under different dynasties. The
Bakhtiaris Lurs seems also to have a flag but no more data is available about
this.
http://lurestaniyam.blogfa.com shows a flag labeled as flag of Lorestan
horizontal yellow, red and white with a big 8 pointed star near hoist and three
smaller 5 pointed stars in arch above the big star; all star are white in the
red stripe, near hoist. This may be the selected design for a South Luristan
flag according to
http://pollmill.com.

*This "Pictorial
History of Iranian Flags", by Ahreeman X, should be considered with extreme
caution. Several images (all on the aforementioned page) have been cropped from
the FOTW website (but our primary sources and their discussion have been
conveniently omitted). Other have been cropped from other, unspecified either,
sources, and the status of these flags is not specified.

This flag is drawn by Chrystian Kretowicz and has no based in history,
culture or religion of Luristan and Lurish people. The symbol of the moon and
star is special for Sunni Muslims and Turkish nations and Lurs are not Sunni or
Turkish! And about the color of this flag, Lurs never accepted a one-color flag
and of course sadness flag.
