Under this is a rectangle reading its name in Arabic; and under, a rounded shape reading "BABYLON GOVERNORATE". Inside the doorway is an image of the Code of Hammurabi, depicting Hammurabi with the sun god Shamash. The date of its adoption and further background is unknown.
