Dilia Ramos, also known as Dilia Suárez in the theater world, is a
Venezuelan from the State of Lara who lives in the United States
and decided to design the immigrant flag to represent the people of
Latin America who are forced to leave their countries in search of a
better future. The idea of creating the flag consisted of looking for
something that would unite all Latin American immigrants in their
daily effort to fulfill their goals and dreams in other countries like
the United States".
