Israel Nature Preservation Society is the first and largest green
organization in Israel, first dedicated to preservation of nature
and later also involved in other related subjects. Probably the
biggest NGO in Israel. The flag in use is its logo (iris and

INPS also operates the Buildings and Settling Sites
Preservation Council, dedicated to preservation of old buildings
and sites all over Israel. I spotted its flag beside the INPS one
at Atlit's Illegal Immigrants Detention Camp Site,
restored and operated as a museum by the council. It is white
with its emblem in blue. The emblem shows an old house, maybe the
legendary Herzliya Gimnasium, once destroyed in order to build
Shalom Tower and the symbol of how we lost a beautiful historical
site in favour of 'progress'.
