Regional Council Matte Yehuda (after the biblical tribe of Juda, hence the stylized lion)
is situated west of Jerusalem. Est.
in 1964 and has 30,000 inh. in 65 settlements (more than any
other Regional Council in Israel). It replaced the previous
Regional Council's of Hare Yehuda (Juda Mounts), Even HaEzer,
Gizo and HaEla..
The flag was reported as a monochrome field with emblem. I drew a
basic flag until colours are confirmed. The municipal emblem was
published in the official gazette (Rashumot),
