Local Council Sha'ab is situated 17 km SE to Acre. Est. 1948, a Local Council from
1974, 4000 inh. all Muslims. In my visit I saw no flags.
Everyone remembered a white flag with emblem, but not its colour.
The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot),
'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut HaPirsumim), YP
2478, 12 November 1978.
