Teungku di Tiró (1836 - 1891) was an Acehnese rebel, who was killed by a rival on behalf of the Dutch invaders.
His flag had been of dark red with a white stripe alongside the hoist.
It was charged with two white swords in fess and ordered per pale.
Shifted to hoist in a white rectangle was a dark red vertical Arab inscription "Inilah ´alâmat ´ lam Teungku di Tiro´i" (= this is the sign of the flag of Teungku di Tiro).
The flag is dated by the filing card as prior to 1891.
