Pusztamagyaród is a village in Zala county. The first mention
of the village is from 1214 as 'MOGHOROD'.
2001 Population Census: 683 inh. Ethnic affiliation: Hungarian:
92,7%; Gipsy: 11,0%; German: 0,7%; unknown, did not wish to
answer: 4,3% Religion: Roman Catholic: 84,8%; Calvinist: 2,1%;
does not belong to any church/denomination: 5,7%; unknown, did
not wish to answer: 7,2%.
The village has got Gipsy Ethnic Minority Council.
