In 1962, it integraded the Kvarner company, established in 1954. In 1986, it maintained a fleet of 21 merchant ships, including 5 ro-ro ships.

The house flag of Lošninjska plovidba, as shown by Josef Nuesse and Isaić [isa01], used since the 1990s, is blue with two white thin horizontal stripes in the middle and a white disk the with tricolour company initials "LP".

US Navy 1961 shows a completely different flag (image) of a green pennant with a white circle bearing the black letters "LP".
