According to Album 2000 [pay00]
- National Ensign (---/CSW 1:2) - Flag for use at sea is the same
as the national flag, only "elongated" to ratio 1:2.
Therefore, the hoist triangle should still reach the midpoint.
Apparently, as Armand discovered talking with Whitney Smith, the
hoist triangle should reach the midpoint of the flag (and should
not be an equilateral triangle).
