company, was founded in 1991 by George Economou.
Forbes, 25 February 2008, describes Economou's controversial family
business and attempts to explain the blurred links between Cardiff
Marine and DryShips.
Josef Nuesse's flag collection (no longer available online) shows the house flag of Cardiff Marine as horizontally divided golden yellow- blue-golden yellow. The design is confirmed by a drawing of the company house flag shown on the Cardiff Marine corporate website.
