Glyka Nera (lit., "Sweet Waters") is a suburbs in the northeastern part of
Athens. Glyka Nera is situated on the eastern slope of the northernmost part of the forested Hymettus (Υμηττός) mountain.
The flag of Glyka Nera (Kokkonis website) was blue with a white disk bearing the municipal emblem - a statue with two lions.
