Baillif is a commune of Guadeloupe, located on Basse-Terre Island (the
western half of Guadeloupe). There are 5,200 inhabitants on 24.3 km².
The commune is named after an early inhabitant, Robert Baillif, who
traded in the area from 1650 to about 1700.
