Bagad Karukéra is a Breton bagpipe players' association in Guadeloupe. Karukéra is claimed to be Guadeloupe's "real" name, meaning "the beautiful watered island".
The flag of the bagad is the Breton Gwenn-ha-Du, with an outlined map of Guadeloupe in the fly and a red triskelion on the map, placed over the location of the capital city Basse-Terre. The map recalls the shape of Breton bagpipes.

The Mémorial ACTe or “Caribbean Center for Expressions and Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Slavery” is a memorial located in the bay of the port of Pointe-à-Pitre, in Guadeloupe, on the site of the former Darboussier sugar factory. Initiated in 2004 by the President of the Regional Council Victorin Lurel and the Regional Council of Guadeloupe on the proposal of the International Committee of Black Peoples, the Memorial ACTe aims to be a place dedicated to the collective memory of slavery and the slave trade open to the contemporary world. The Mémorial ACTe opened in 2015.
The flag is white with the logo (photo).
