L'Agence nationale du Sport ( ANS, National Sports Agency), a
public-law entity, is a public interest group (GIP) that brings
together representatives from the State, the sports community, local
authorities, and economic and social stakeholders (such as
federations, clubs, and private companies).
The Agency’s objectives are to fund and organize sport in France, with
a dual mission:
- developing sports participation for all by supporting projects that
improve access to sport for all demographics across both mainland
France and the overseas territories, while fostering new momentum in
the sports sector;
- developing elite and high-performance sport through a national and
international strategy designed to achieve national objectives in
these areas.
