The municipality of Courdimanche (6,709 inhabitants in 2019; 557 ha) is located 30 km north-west of Paris. It is composed of the ancient village of Courdimanche, located on a small hill, and of the new borough of Sainte-Apolline established below the hill in 1990.
Ivan Sache, 4 September 2021
The flag of Courdimanche is white with the municipal coat of arms and the
name of the municipality written in big black Capital letters below
the shield.
The arms of Courdimanche are said to have belonged to Philippe de
Courdimanche, a relative of the former Counts of Meulan (12th
century). The mount and the chevron represent the hill on which the
ancient village of Courdimanche was built.
