The municipality of Sanary-sur-Mer (17,068 inhabitants in 2008; 1,924
ha) is located on the Mediterranean coast, between Marseilles and Toulon.
The Société Nautique de Sanary (SNS) was founded in 1927. The burgee of the SNS (photo) is blue with a red triangle in the middle.
