The municipality of Maurecourt (4,278 inhabitants in 2010; 365 ha) is located on river Oise.
Ivan Sache, 7 January 2002
The flag of Maurecourt, as communicated by the municipal administration, is vertically divided blue-yellow with the municipal coat
of arms in the middle.
The river shown on the coat of arms is probably the Oise. The grapes recall that grapevine was once grown in the area (old postcards), as it was the case all around Paris to provide low-quality wine for pubs and churches.
