The Communauté de communes du Pays de l'Ozon (CCPO, 25,290 inhabitants in 2015; 7,772 ha) was created in November 1997 by the municipalities of Saint-Symphorien-d'Ozon (seat), Communay, Sérézin-du-Rhône, Simandres, and Ternay. Chaponnay and Marennes joined in January 2013.
The flag of the CCPO (photo) is white with the authority's logo.
