The arms of Ars-sur-Moselle, "Per pale, 1. Or a tower sable masoned argent on a fess wavy azure, 2. Gules issuant from a cloud argent a dexter arm garnished azure holding a sword in pale argent pomelled or flanked by two rocks or.", adopted in 1948, represents the location of the municipality on river Moselle and feature the arms of the chapter of the cathedral of Metz.
