Flag of Régates Rémoises - Image by Ivan Sache, 25 September 2012
The Société Nautique des Régates Rémoises, aka Régates Rémoises, was founded in Reims, the capital of Champagne, in 1854.
One of the best French rowing clubs in the last 15 years, the Régates Rémoises ranked first in the yearly ranking established by the French Rowing Federation in 1995, 1996, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 (1st in 1996 and 2003-2008 in women's categories).
The flag of the Régates Rémoises (photo, 30 July 2012) is red with a blue bend fimbriated in white, in lower hoist the year "1854", in upper fly the initials "RR". This is a banner of the arms of the club.
