The yacht club Association des Régates Choletaises (ARC), founded c. 50 years ago in the town of Cholet, is based on the man-made Lake Ribou, located a few kilometers south-east of the town.
The burgee of ARC, as shown graphically on the club website, is an elongated (~7:11) blue broad pennant quartered by a white and red cross; the writing "ARC - CHOLET" in white letters is placed in the thrid quarter, closed to the cross.
