The Communauté de communes Pays des Écrins (6,682 inhabitants in 2014; 46,284 ha) is composed of eight municipalities: L’Argentière-la-Bessée (seat), Champcella, Freissinières, Puy-Saint-Vincent, La Roche-de-Rame, Saint-Martin-de-Queyrières, Vallouise-Pelvoux (merged in 2017), and Les Vigneaux. The flag of Pays des Écrins (photo) is white with the authority's logo.
