The X-Men are a superhero team in Marvel Comics, created in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
They are the protagonists of the comics series X-Men and the comics series Uncanny X-Men.
There was also an 1992-1997 animated TV series, and from 2000-onward there's a series of live-action movies.

A flag of the team appeared on the cover of Uncanny X-Men #492, of the 2007-8 series "Messiah CompleX" (detail): white with a red X in a ring, this being the longtime logo of the team. I'm pretty sure the yellow background is just an example of overly dramatic lighting - the overall illustration is set against a sunset or something.

Note that the flag in it is also very very long so as to billow extra-dramatically,
another flourish I did not bother reproducing.

This flag was offered on eBay as a flag for the Department of Mutant Affairs from the Fox television series X-Men show. But as this flag is obviously non-animated, it would instead be from one of the movies.

Genosha is an island nation of Genosha. According to the Wikipedia entry, the island is located off the east coast of Africa.

The flag of Genosha, from the 1992-1997 TV series
"X-Men", is visible as a car flag on the Genoshan presidential limousine
in episode 7, Slave Island. The flag
resembles that of Bangladesh, but with a larger disc and a highly
stylized black eagle inside it.
