The Prince And The Showgirl is a 1957 film starring Laurence Olivier and Marilyn Monroe.
Jason Saber, 22 August 2010
In this film Olivier plays a prince regent from a country named Carpatha
(derived from "Carpathia" one imagines).
A flag of this fictitious state appeared in the film
(still 1;
still 2;
still 3) and appears to be a horizontal
tricolour of light blue or lilac at top, white in the middle and purple at
bottom with a rather elaborate coat of arms over all, offset towards the
hoist.
