Baleària (website) ferry service was established before 1999. It runs 12 vessels operating on 13 lines connecting the Balearic Islands daily with one another and with the peninsula. The company is also operating in the Strait of Gibraltar.

The house flag of Baleària is composed of the logo of the company in
white displayed over a background with the characteristic green
color. On the foot of the flag along its length, a white wave similar
to the negative created over the circle in the logo of the company.
Baleària also has a distinct triangular pennant. The field is the classic Baleària-green, and it has the Baleària logo on it in white.

The former house flag of Baleària (Palma de Mallorca Eastern Harbour, 26 May 2009) was turquoise blue with the writing "BALEÀRIA" in white italics, the accent being given as a small horizontal line, surmounted by a white ship.
