The flag and arms (image) of Malva are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 30
April 2007 by the Municipal Council, signed on 3 May 2007 by the
Mayor, and published on 16 May 2007 in the official gazette of Castile
and León, No. 94, p. 10,419 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, vertically divided in two equal parts. The stripe at hoist red with a white hermitage, the stripe at fly white with three green mallow [malva] leaves placed 2 and 1.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Gules (red) a chapel argent masoned and port and windows sable (black), 2. Argent three mallow leaves vert (green). The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
