Flag adopted c. 1991

This touristic resort has 300,000 citizens in summer but less than 30,000 in winter. The flag of Salou is blue with a yellow stripe near the bottom with a white tower in the upper hoist corner. I previously reported the tower as yellow, but I can now see personally that it is white. The flag was created following the separation of Salou from the municipality of Vilaseca about ten years ago and probably was officially adopted and approved according to the law.
