The municipality of Cozuelos de Fuentidueña (153 inhabitants in 2009;
1,524 ha) is located in the north of Segovia Province, 60 km from Segovia.
Cozuelos de Fuentidueña belonged to the Community of Villages and Lands
of Fuentidueña in the 13th century, the village was known as
Coçuelos, meaning "a stony place".

The flag and arms of Cozuelos de Fuentidueña, designed by Vicente
Tocino Letrado, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 13 November 2005
by the Municipal Council, signed on 8 February 2006 by the Mayor, and
published on 21 February 2006 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 36, p. 3,079 (text).
The symbols are described
as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of two equal vertical stripes, red at hoist and white at fly, with a pine countercolored in each stripe.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1a. Argent a pine eradicated vert, 1b. Azure a twelve-pointed star argent, 2. Vert an ewe argent surrounded dexter by three spikes and sinister by a branch of madder all or. The shield surmounted by a Royal Spanish crown closed.
