Symbols of Aldeasoña

The flag and arms of Aldeasoña are prescribed by an Agreement adopted on 26 April 2016 by the Municipal Council, signed on 14 June 2016 by the Mayor and published on 30 August 2016 in the official gazette of Castilla y Le—n, No. 167, p. 38,971 (text).
The symbols are not described in the Agreement.

The symbols, designed by José Manuel Erbez Rodríguez and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas (supporting memoir submitted on 30 March 2016), on behalf of the Spanish Vexillological Society, were inaugurated on 23 June 2016.

The flag is horizontally divided red-white-green-white with the municipal coat of arms in the center.
The colours are those of the banner (pendón) of the St. Magdalena church. These are also the colours of the flag of the Basque Country, which, according to the Mayor "seems to be explained by the Basque origin of the village".

The coat of arms is "Per fess, 1. Gules a wall or masoned sable windows azure; 2a. Argent a crayfish gules, 2b. Vert a branch of blackthorn proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed."
The wall recalls that the village belonged to the Community of the Town and Land of Fuentidueña, represented here by the Fuentidueña fortress.
Crayfish are commonly found in the area.
The blackthorn (endrino) recalls the local cultural association, Asociación Cultural Fuentendrino.
