The flag and arms of Alba de Cerrato are prescribed by a Decree
adopted on 13 May 1996 by the Palencia Provincial Government, signed
on 20 May 1996 by the President of the Government and published on 30
May 1996 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 103 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular flag with proportions 1:1, white (albo). In the middle is placed the municipal coat of arms in full colors.
Coat of arms: Gules two castles or per fess in chief two fleurs-de-lis argent per fess in base, a bordure azure with a castle or in base. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
