photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 11
January 1999 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 22
January 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 4, p. 367 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3. Divided in four triangles with a common point in the hoist's lower angle and the other in the upper edge's midpoint, fly's upper angle, and edge's center. The colors are, from hoist to fly, red, white, green, and yellow. Charged in the center with the coat of arms.
The coat of arms of Graja de Iniesta is prescribed by an Order issued on
11 January 1999 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on
22 January 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 4, p.
367 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Gules a St. George piercing a dragon all argent, 2. Or a bunch of grapes vert surrounded by two wheat spikes of the same. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.
The Royal Academy of History validated the proposed symbols, although
the arms depart from good style by including a complex representation.
It would have been more preferable to use a symbolic, more schematic
element compliant with the Spanish tradition.
