The flag of Gabaldón is prescribed by an Order issued on 29 January 2003
by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 10 February
2003 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 17, p. 1,921 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 2:3, red with a white triangle running from the hoist to the fly's midpoint, itself charged with a red triangle running from the hoist to 1/3.
The coat of arms of Gabaldón is prescribed by an Order issued on 29
January 2003 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 10
February 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 17, p.
1,921 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Or a rooster sable a mantel gules. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.
The Royal Academy of History rejected the proposed flag, which features
the rooster from the "definitively approved" coat of arms, but in
different colors; it is clearly "unacceptable" that the very same
heraldic charge is represented in two different ways. The Academy
suggested, as a "a simple solution", to drop the rooster from the flag.
