The flag of Almedina (photo) is prescribed by an Order issued on 2 December 1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 15 December 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 89, pp. 6,520-6,521 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular, in proportions 1:2, divided in in four parts by the two diagonal lines, the upper and lower parts, white, the lateral, green.
The coat of arms of Almedina is prescribed by an Order issued on 2 December 1993 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 15 December 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 89, pp. 6,520 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Spanish shield. Or a castle gules port and windows sable on a mount vert surrounded by two standards, dexter argent a Cross of Saint James gules sinister vert a moon crescent argent. The shield surmounted by a Spanish Royal crown.
The Royal Academy of History approved the proposed symbols "without inconvenience".
