The municipality of San Juan del Molinillo (289 inhabitants in 2012;
3,579 ha) is located in the southeast of the Ávila Province, 40 km of Ávila. The municipality is made of the three villages of San Juan del Molinillo, Villarejo and Navandrinal.

The flag and arms of San Juan del Molinillo are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 26 October 2009 by the Municipal Council, signed on 7 June 2012 by the Mayor, and published on 21 June 2012 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 118, p. 41,495 (text).
The symbols are not described in the Decree.
