The municipality of Niharra (154 inhabitants in 2010; 1,231 ha; unofficial website) is located in the center of Ávila Province, 15 km of Ávila.

The flag and arms of Niharra are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 6 May 1997 by the Provincial Executive and published on 10 June 1997 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 109 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular flag. Tierced in base, the upper part blue with a yellow border, the lower part white. In the middle is placed the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Azure a Christ lying (head and bust) or beard and hair sable a shroud purpure on a bed argent, a bordure or, 2. A wall masoned sable. The shield surmounted with a Royal Spanish crown.
