In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have the Aragonese colours (yellow flag with four red stripes) with the municipal CoA in the center. The municipality of La Vila Joiosa (Spanish: Villajoyosa, 20,45 km² and 32.534 hab., 2008) is located in the comarca of Marina Alta.
