In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have a monocoloured flag with the municipal CoA in the center. Cocentaina (52,94 km² and 11.383 hab.) is a municipality in the comarca of El Comtat / Condado de Cocentaina in the Valencian Community, Spain.

Cocentaina uses a white flag with the shield in its center, according to my personal observation of it in the Condal Palace, built by Almogavar Admiral Roger de Lauria, the first Earl of Cocentaina.
