The flag of the FN was square, diagonally divided red-bmue, recalling the colours of the uniforms (red beret above the blue shirt) of the FET y de las JONS, the single party during General Franco's regime. The flag was usually plain (photos, photos), although a rare variant with the letters "F" and "N" in counterchanged colors is also documented (photo, photo).

The image of the flag with white letters seems to appear only on stickers (image, image, image), posters (image), and other material, some of which show the image of a waving flag. There are also a few images showing the flag pattern with yellow letters (image, image). The lapel pins of the party, often in the form of a waving flag, seem to show the letters in yellow/gold (image, image) more than in white/silver (image). These sources employ a variety of typefaces, usually sans serif, but also serif ones (the latter are not verified to have been used on the flags yet).
