Aspect ratio of the flags: 2: 3
The flags and the coat of arms show the
bust of Nefertiti (14th century BC), which was found on the territory of the
Governorate of al-Minya. In 2010, the representation of the Nefertiti bust on
the flag was changed in a beneficial way.
